Document Description
This project involves conducting wildlife, vegetation, and archeological surveys needed for CEQA compliance for future projects in Coldstream Canyon at Donner Memorial State Park. CEQA Department of Park and Recreation (DPR is requesting $59,816 in funding from the Sierra Nevade Conservancy's Grant Program to conduct the studies. DPR intends to eventually implement both forest management and floodplain restoration in Coldstream Canyon at Donner Memorial State Park. In order to commence work on these projects, DPR must comply with CEQA regulations and conduct wildlife, vegetation, and archeological resource studies in Donner Memorial State Park in compliance with applicable state and federal protocol requirements.
