Twin Oaks Trail Rehabilitation
NOE - Notice of Exemption
Rehabilitate approximately 5000 linear feet of Twin Oaks Trail at Wilder Ranch State Park to repair excessive erosion and enhance soil stabilization. Work will construct 15 new drainage dips and reconstruct 8 drainage dips, harden +/- 4687 feet of trail, install crowning and out sloping, realign 830 feet of trail and undertake 1020 feet of brushing. A failing 8 foot puncheon will also be replaced across Peasley Gulch with a 24 foot pucheon. All disturbed soil will be covered with native mulch and/or native grass seed when project is complete.
Project consists of the repair, maintenance or minor alteration of an existing public facility involving no expansion beyond curetn levels; replacement or reconstruction of existing structure, and ' minor alterations in the conditon of land, and/or vegetation that does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees included as "trails or road repairs, trail construction or realignment and trail removal" in the Department of Park and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR Section 15300.4.
