Note: review per lead The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposes to implement a comprehensive conservation plan (management plan) for the 965-acre Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge that will guide refuge management for the next 15 years. The plan addresses protection, restoration, and enhancement of native coastal wetland and upland habitat; protections of listed species, migratory birds, fish, and other wildlife; protections of cultural resources; integrated pest management; mosquito management; and provisions for compatible public uses such as wildlife observation, interpretation, environmental education, and scientific research that would support Refuge purposes.
