- Document Description
- Construct and operate an aquatic center within CHHS campus. The facility would include a 25-yd by 35 m pool, shower/locker/restroom facilities, small office, and covered storage area totaling approximately 7,500 SF of building area. The pool would be lighted for nighttime use and would include bleachers with a seating capacity of 200 to 300 for competition events. Construction of a concession/ticket booth building is also included in the project. A 10- to 12-ft-high perimeter wall is to be provided for security purposes. The aquatic center would have the most active use during summer and winter months (June through August and November through February) from 6 AM to 9:30 PM. Some community use the aquatic facility is anticipated, dependent upon coordination between the District and its stakeholders.
