Document Description
The project is a long range Master Plan for planned future improvements to the Claremont McKenna College (CMC) campus over the next 30 years. The project provides for: potential enrollment increase from 1,150 students up to 1,400 students at the CMC campus, a potential increase of 250; demolition of up to 256,112 gross square feet of existing facilities and construction of up to 979,000 gross square feet of new facilities for a potential net increase of 722,888 gross square feet of structural development; and construction of new athletic facilities as part of an East Campus Sports Complex. The majority of the project area is in the City of Claremont (County of Los Angeles), with portions also in the City of Upland (County of San Bernardino).
