Document Description
Site Plan Review (SPR) 11-10-1 is a request to construct a 20 megawatt ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) facility on approximately 155 acres located at the northwest corner of 90th Street East and Avenue M. The solar panels will be mounted on beam and channel structures supported by piles or ground screws with the solar panels at a maximum height of approximately 22 feet. The project will utilize crystalline silicon or thin film PV technology on either 1) fixed tilted trackers; 2) horizontal single-axis trackers; or 3) tilted trackers. The horizontal single-axis and tilted trackers track the sun across the sky during the day. The PV panels will be divided into grid pattern sectors, with 20-foot wide interior access roads separating the sectors for fire access and a 30-foot side access road located around the entire perimeter of the site.
