Document Description
The applicant proposes to develop a vacant 1.03 acre parcel with a 2,798 sq. ft. pre-manufactured single family dwelling and a detached 535 sq. ft. carport. The applicant will incorporate noise-reducing elements into the project such as the construction of a 6-foot to 8-foot high barrier between the dwelling and the Ventura Freeway, installation of double-glazed windows, roof sheathing, and exterior walls that meet noise attenuation specifications. A temporary storage container (not to exceed 360 sq. ft.) will be used during construction of the residential development, in compliance with Coastal Zoning Ordinance Sec. 8175-5.14. Water will be provided by the Casitas Municipal Water District via a pipeline operated by the Carpinteria Valley Water District. Sewage disposal will accomplished with the use of a new private septic system.
