- Document Description
- The proposed Leo/Vega Solar Project includes approval of a conditional use permit (CUP) to allow for the construction and operation of a 150 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) power-generating facility and associated infrastructure. The proposed project would utilize solar PV technology and integrate the electrical output of the project into the electrical grid. PV technology converts sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity, and therefore does not consume fossil fuels or emit pollutants during operations. The electricity produced by the proposed project would be delivered to a public utility.
