The project consists of the construction & operation of the Central & Southern water quality basins which is part of the drainage plan for the Sycamore Canyon Business Park. The project site is located within the Sycamore Canyon Business Park (SCBP) Specific Plan area. The Southern Basin is located in the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park. The project's basins will encompass approximately 3.83 acres (1.68 acre for the Central Basin and 2.15 acres for the Southern Basin) & include the placement of riprap, inlet & outlet structures, spillway, maintenance roads, drainage pipes, retaining wells, trash racks, & cutoff walls. After construction, the basins will be re-vegetated with native upland, wetland, & riparian plant species. The basins are proposed to treat approximately 227 acres of runoff water from the existing SCBP area & sycamore Canyon Boulevard.
