Document Description
The San Jose Police Department Human Trafficking Task Force will identify and rescue victims of human trafficking through proactive and reactive investigation; training of local, state, and federal law enforcement officers and other potential first-responders; collaborate with other federal- and state-funded anti-trafficking task forces to increase overall effectiveness of the task force program; partner with community- and faith-based organizations to increase public awareness of human trafficking; contract with one of our partner service-providers who will establish the ability to provide long-term housing for trafficking victims, including minor and adult men.
