The objectives of this research are to: 1) develop tools and methods to reduce the difficulty of measurement and verification. 2) development additional fault detection and diagnostic tools specifically for dual duct systems and fan coil equipment. 3) develop methods to characterize the performance of fan and duct systems 4) specifiy, implement and test a generic Application Programming Interfact (API) for the Universal Translator tool 5) implement the new fault detection and measurement and verification tools into the Universal Translator too, using the new API
