Document Description
The Foothill Municipal Water District owns and operated a booster station with four (4) 300 Hp booster pumps that lift water to its La Crescenta Reservoir. Because of the new emergency water supply going towards the FMWD system from the CVWD system, it will require the replacement of an existing pressure regulating valve at the Berkshire Booster Station with a new pressure and flow controlling valve. The existing valve at Berkshire does provide for by-pass of the Station, but has no flow regulating capability. The valve requires complete replacement to ensure reliability.
