Document Description
The Department of General Services/Real Estate Services Disision (DGS/RESD), on behalf of the Department of Transportation (DOT), has been contracted to provide fire, life safety and infrastructure repairs at the existing Eureka District Office Building (District 1). The building is located at 1656 Union Street in Eureka and was originally built in 1953 and expanded in 1964. The District 1 Building has been fournd to have numerous fire, life safety and American Disabilities Act (ADA) code violations and other building life cycle requirements for upgrades. The majority of the proposed safety and infrastrucute repairs will be internal to the building: mechanical, electrical and fire safety features.
