Document Description
The Project entails reconstructing two existing pedestrian crosswalks (and part of the related sidewalk connections) that serve Galt High School at 145 Lincoln Way. The intent is to improve pedestrian and driver safety in this school zone area. Improvements will include flashing sidewalk improvements such as In Road Warning Lights (IRWL's) and Flashing Yellow Beacon Lights. The pole height on the additional signs/lights will not exceed 16 feet. The project will also entail removal and reinstallation of thermoplastic striping. The sidewalk ramp connections will also be improved. All work will be conducted within existing road rights of way.
