Document Description
Alter and maintain 15 currently known sites within the city limite. Activities include removing or clearing sediment adjacent to outfall structures and intake structures to prevent flooding or removing sediment within channels. These areas will not exceed 20 feet from each structure, except for Sonya Drain, which shall be the minimum necessary to open the drain flow. Projects by site as follows: 1) Sonya Drain; open the outflow structure, open a channel in the vegetation downstream if needed, and remove all debris. 2) Sonya/Cherrywood Basin; can remove vegetation from the bottom, and shall revegetate along the banks to provide habitat. This site will be used as a mitigation site for all the maintenance of these sites. 3) Jill Street surface ditch, Inger Drive park basin, Pacific Crest Basin, Jones Ditch, Bradly Ditch, Cooley Lane Drainage, Stowell Ditch, La Brea Drainage, Santa Maria River Drainage, and the Foster/Blosser culvert, may have sediments and vegetation removed within 20 feet of the structures, or along problem areas.
