Document Description
The project is limited to the extension of the exisiting pier some 95 feet from its current location. The proposed pier is 6 feet wide up to the pier head where it is 16 foot wide. There will be a 3' x 45' long catwalk and one boat lifts. The existing boathouse and pier will be torn down using a crane and barge.
Construction will access the site via a rubber-tired amphibian and a barge will be used for the staging area. Pilings will be driven to an approximate depth of 6 feet using a pile driver or vibration unit attached to the amphibian.
