Trees will be cut using hand tools and chipped using machines. Materials will be chipped onsite and broadcast along the slope; logs will be hauled away. Tree stumps will be treated to prevent resproutting. A total of 200 native oaks will be planted at three highway interchanges in the area (Lucas Valley Road, Miller Creek Road, and Manuel T.
