Ordinance applies to all zoning districts and General Plan designations in the unincorporated area
The proposed Yolo County Solar Facilities Ordinance establishes the permitting process, development and design standards, and mitigation requirements for a wide variety of solar facilities. The ordinance requires a graduated review process for small, medium-sized, large, and very large solar energy systems, based on the size of the system (the amount of electricity generated), the zone district where it is to be located, and whether the solar system conforms to a list of design standards.
