The proposed project involves demolition of the existing Pier 29 shed and a portion of the Pier 29 shed and construction of a new cruise terminal at Pier 27, ground transportation area, and Northeast Wharf Plaza. The new cruise terminal would service between 40 and 80 calls per year, and the terminal and ground transportation area would be used for up to 100 additional special events per year when not in use as a cruise terminal.
