Document Description
Project involves ferry facility improvements to provide overnight ferry mooring, daily fueling shore power sewage disposal and light maintenance, A total of five ferry berths will be constructed using concrete floating docks with steel pipe guide piles and fenders, along approximately 400 lineal feet of waterfront, The project will result in impacts to 0.0015 acres of Longfin smelt (Sprinchus thaleichthys) and Delta smelt (Hypomesus transpicaficus) habitat including permanent removal of 0.0048 acres of Longfin and Delta smelt habitat, The project is expected to result in incidental take of Longfin and Delta smelt which are designed as a threatened species and endangered species respectively, under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
