- Shasta County proposes to replace an existing one-lane bridge (334-foot long by 12.5-foot wide) by constructing a new two span 342-foot long by 37-foot wide bridge. The new bridge will have two 12-foot lanes plus a 5-foot elevated sidewalk with an adjacent 2-foot shoulder and 4-foot shoulder on the other side, as well as aesthetically pleasing barrier rail. The existing bridge will be closed with a detour available to the public during construction.
