Document Description
The project will construct sediment reduction treatments at road-related sites in the Lagunitas Creek watershed. The project's purpose is to reduce road-related fine sediment loading to improve water quality and stream habitat for the benefit of coho salmon and steelhead trout in the Lagunitas Creek Watershed. The project includes work at 23 sites. The treatments include the removal and installation of culverts, creation of critical and rolling dips, armoring of wet crossings, and installation of puncheons. In total, it is estimated that implementing treatments at the 23 sites will result in 2,727 cubic yards of sediment being saved from entering Lagunitas Creek over a 10-year period.
