Document Description
Adoption of a Master Plan for facility development within and adjacent to the existing Delano Municipal Airport, including the recommended Alternative Development Concept 10 which would entail relocating the Runway 14 threshold 1,016 feet to the south and adding 945 feet of pavement to Runway 32. Amendment to the existing Airport Land Use Compatibility Safety Zones and related map. Development of a 10 megawatt solar photovoltaic energy farm by the Southern California Edison utility on approximately 100 acres of adjacent City-owned land located east of the developed Municipal Airport area. An amendment to the South Delano Industrial Specific Plan will be processed to incorporate an appropriate land use designation for the area to accommodate the southerly relocation of the main airport runway.
