Document Description
NOTE: Reference SCH# 2011024004 for the Environmental Assessment. The project consists of two components on separate project sites on the UCSD West Campus in the School of Medicine (SOM) neighborhood. The project consists of construction of a new three-story, 40,000 GSF Central Research Services Facility (CRSF) to be built on an existing parking lot and an expansion of the existing George Palade Laboratories (GPL) building. The CRSF component would integrate and consolidate existing research support space, equipment, and other associated biomedical research support services into one building. The GPL component would entail development of additional research support space through an interior basement renovation and 1,800 GSF building addition.
