Document Description
The Project includes construction and operation of a 350-megawatt maximum combination solar and wind energy generation facility. Major components of the Project include up to 134 wind turbine generators, up to 150 photovoltaic solar system blocks, up to two (2) electrical substations, up to three (3) meteorological towers, two (2) operation and maintenance facilities, up to ten (10) lay-down areas, and up to four (4) concrete batch plants. Grading for the Project will excavate, contour, and place fill in a portion of several unnamed ephemeral tributaries and Cottonwood Creek. Project components that will occur in California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) jurisdictional areas include 86 at-grade road crossings and excavating and backfilling trenches for underground electrical lines at 25 locations. Approximately 63,177 cubic yards of fill materials will be placed into approximately 15.0 acres of California Department of Fish and Game jurisdictional ephemeral drainage. An additional approximate 33.0 acres will be temporarily disturbed during construction.
