The project consists of amending various sections of the Zoning Ordinances, Title 21 (Coastal) and Title 21 (Inland), related to Density Bonuses and Incentives, Second Dwelling Units, Farm/Agricultural Worker Housing, Residential Care Facilities, Emergency Shelters, Transitional and Supportive Housing, Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Units, Definition of "Family", and Reasonable Accommodation in order to comply with Federal and State law. Each of the ordinances is housing-related and each addresses different needs. The Project does not involve any physical improvements or development that could result in physical changes to the environment.
