Document Description
The Grossmont Healthcare District (GHD) would take action to approve and carry out carious improvements to Grossmont Hospital including: (1) interior renovations and upgrading of the existing "East Tower" building; (2) construction of a new 70,500 square foot Diagnostic and Treatment (D&T) facility; and (3) construction of a new Central Energy Plant (CEP) in order to meet the energy and utility demands of both existing hospital facilities and the proposed project. The project would be financed through GHD's issuance of general obligation bonds authorized by Proposition 'G' passed by voters on June 6, 2006.
