Document Description
TThis restoration project consists of constructing barriers to restrict unauthorized access, scarifying the compacted soil, installing signs, and monitoring of the restoration site. There will be local surface disturbance as heavy equipment will be used for ripping and scarification of the compacted soils. The use of barriers such as field fencing, pipe and cable, boulders and railroad tie barriers will be utilized along with natural vegetation and topography to insure the protection of natural and cultural resources and prevent unauthorized HOV use. Sign installation will include regulatory signs such as NO Motor Vehicles (NMV), restoration in progress and no off road travel. The project site is 20 acres.
