The project involves the replacement of the existing Locust Street Pump Station with a new submersible pump station, including a new building to house electrical switchgear and controls, underground piping, and valve and meter vaults. Work will also include the relocation of existing utilities that would intefere with the new pump station, removal of portions of the existing above and below grade pump structure and restoration of sidewalk and roadway that are disturbed by the construction of the new pump station.
