Document Description
Replace the existing deteriorated 43.5 feet by 21 feet and 8 feet wide deck and 34 inch high railing with in kind materials at Prarie Creek Redwoods State Park to replace the main public entry to the Visitor Center. Work will situate the deck on posts and piers set on "floating" 24 inch x 24 inch concrete pads; install 4 x 6 full dimension redwood posts and beams on pads; construct a 35 foot long, 6 foot wide Americans with Disabilities Act compliant earthen ramp with crushed shale (road base) compacted to a unifrom smooth surface, with wet and dry traction characteristics adjacent to the east face of the visitor center.
