The Dry Creek preserve is a privately owned nature preserve that will be open to the public with a focus on low intensity nature-oriented recreation and outdoor education. The amenities include one caretaker residence, public restrooms, a leach field, a demonstration garden, a gateway pavilion, a viewing platform, walking trails, interpretive signage, picnic areas and fencing.

The caretaker residence, public restrooms, gateway pavillion and observation deck will occupy less than 2,500 square feet. No trees will be cut to create the project.
