Document Description
The proposed project woud install an underground communication signal interconnect cable, pull boxes, and a service/controller cabinet. The purpose of this proposed project is to improve coordination between the existing traffic signals on Route 101 betweem Henderson Street and Wabash Avenue. Also, pedestrian signal boxes at Route 101 and Wabash Avenue and at Route 101 and 14th Street would be replaced with those that provide a count-down timer that would indicate the number of seconds remaining for a pedestrian to cross the street.
