The proposed geotechnical drilling is considered Phase 1 in a series of three phases of drilling. The proposed geotechnical drilling would indirectly benefit the traveling public and users of Route 199, since the drilling results would help develop recommendations for proposed bridge replacement and not directly result in construction.
