Document Description
The proposed project consists of drilling geotechnical test borings at 11 locations adjacent to the Middle Fork Smith River Bridge. The purpose is to collect subsurface data necessary in the preparation of the foundation recommendations for proposed bridge replacement at the Patrick Creek Narrows Location 2, which was identified in the Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Assessment for the 197/199 Safe STAA Access project. The proposed geotechnical drilling is considered Phase 2 in a series of three phases of drilling; the Categorical Exemption (CE) for Phase 1 was already prepared and signed, and the CE for Phase 3 drilling has not been prepared yet.
