Document Description
California Department of Transportation will reconstruct pavement, make drain repairs and upgrade guardrails on approximately 7.3 mi. of Interstate 5. Remove existing concrete slabs/base and replace with 1ft. of concrete pavement and 3inches of base material. Shoulders will be reconstructed by removing pavement/base and replacing with .08ft. of concrete pavement and 0.45ft. of base. Drain inlets will be adjusted to accommodate pavement height and edge drain will be removed. Guardrail will be reconstructed and upgrade as needed.
