Document Description
Install replacement and new cedar rail fencing in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Much of the fencing replaces previous fencing that was destroyed in wildfire in 2003. Fencing will prevent unauthorized off-road vehicle access. Replacement fencing includes along Park boundaries with Highway 79, along Dyar/School Camp Road, and Stonewall Mine Road. New fencing is along the Tulloch acquisition (north side of Highway 79 at the S-1 / Hwy 79 Intersection) and along both sides of S-1 just south of the Cuyamaca Lake property boundary.

Reasons for Exemption
No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated in compliance with Section 15300..2. Project consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be lcoated on the same structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced and location of limited numbers of new, small facilties or structures and is included in DPR's list of exempt activities as "Construction or installation of park facilities such as....fencing" in accordance with CCR section 15300.4.
