Document Description
The Project consists of planting grasses in order to establish a lawn and planting native, mature trees such as California sycamore (Platanus racemosa), alder (Alnus spp.), and oak (Quercus spp.). The soil in an approximately 300 yard long by 100 yard wide area above and outside of the river bank boundary will be tilled before grass seed and trees are planted. The grasses will be irrigated with sprinklers fed by an existing well. The trees will be irrigated by a drip system. All irrigation water will be contained so as not to cause run-off. No work will occur within the river channel or banks. No native vegetation, including trees and shrubs, will be impacted.
