Document Description
The City of Mountain View proposes an update to the City's General Plan, which was adopted in 1992 and currently serves as Mountain View's blueprint for development. The General Plan will include an updated vision, with goals, policies, and actions anticipating a 2010 build-out reflecting the current needs and preferences of the community, and ensuring compliance with state law. Additionally, the City anticipates the adoption of a Greenhouse Gas Reduction Program (GGRP) which is a long-range plan that includes goals, policies, performance standards, and implementation measures for achieving greenhouse gas emission reduction to meet the requirements of Assembly Bill (AB) 32.
