Boundary Adjustment: Spring Gulch & Anna Roads Properties

Anderson-Cottonwood Irrigation District is proposing the annexation of lands adjacent to Spring Gulch and Anna Roads into the District's service area. Numerous landowners in this area have been served for decades with A.C.I.D. surface water for the purpose of agricultural irrigation. A recent determination by the United States Bureau of Reclamation that the subject lands lay outside the A.C.I.D. service area boundary precludes continued service to these lands unless they are annexed into the service area. No development or land use changes are planned for the subject area. The annexation would allow for the continued provision of surface water by A.C.I.D. for the purpose of agricultural irrigation to lands that have historically been provided irrigation service.
