Document Description
Use Permit to expand operations at an existing event center in the Capay Valley (off CR 81 at the intersection of SR 16). The project site includes 2.5 acres each of vineyards and olives; a 2,000-square foot rehabilitated sheep barn used as a social hall for hosting events; a permanent restroom facility; and several outdoor landscaped areas used during events. The use permit proposes to include the addition of tastings, sales, and activities associated with winery operations and olive oil production, as well as the display and sales of agricultural products grown on the property. Future improvements include expanding the vineyards and olive orchards; a permanent farm office with tasting room; a farm shop for the display and sale of agricultural products; a small olive oil and wine processing facility (less than 1,000 cases per year); and as additional on-site reservoir.
