The Central Valley Regional Water Board is issuing a 401 Water Quality Certification for the subject project. The project consists of modifications to an existing 6.3-acre flood detention basin, including the development of the following: low-flow channels to treat summer irrigation flows; seasonal wetland areas to treat large storm flows and winter runoff; and habitat heterogeneity through creation of riparian clusters and habitat mounds.
