Document Description
The purpose of the proposed Project is to increase the overall capacity of the existing WTP and add facilities necessary to reduce treated water arsenic levels, along with iron and manganese, at the plant thereby improving water quality to meet current standards. Improvements will include installation of a new 1,700 +/- foot deep well, new water, sewer and storm drain piping, a new chemical storage/garage/electrical and controls structure, a new carbon dioxide storage tank and feed system, two new filter vessels, three new booster pumps, a new 100,000 gallon backwash reclaim tank to replace an existing tank, new generator, relocation of a fire hydrant, and related facilities.
