Document Description
The project involves demolition of an existing ground-floor parking structure with 49 parking spaces, and a second-floor podium with a single-story, 1,500-square-foot church community facility, a two-story classroom building, and open space. The existing structure would be replaced by a five-story, mixed-use building with a 59-space parking garage on the ground floor, a 2,722-square foot church community facility and open space on the second floor, and a Group Living Accommodations (GLA) for 164 residents on floors two through five. The GLA is intended as rental housing for local university students. The parcel is owned by St. Mark's Episcopal Church. The official address for the parcel is 2300 Bancroft Way. The parcel would be divided into two legally separate parcels following project approval and prior to construction.
