Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0280-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Milpitas. The Project includes annual vegetation and sediment removal to maintain 100-year event capacity. The maximum amount of annual vegetation removal for all three creeks is a total of 0.22 acres of riparian vegetation and 0.21 acres of wetland vegetation. Vegetation removal will occur through mowing, weed whacking, pruning, and/or herbicides. Within the eastern bank of Wrigley-Ford Creek, vegetation control will only include willow pruning. A maximum amount of annual sediment removal at culverts for all three creeks is a total of 200 cubic yards per year.
