Document Description
The proposed project involves channel clearing and maintenance of the Tule River and Porter Slough in Tulare County, CA. Activities include the removal of vegetation, sediment, and debris from inside the channel and along the interior banks. Additionally, herbicides and rodenticides will be applied to control vegetation growth and rodent population along the roadways and inside and outside slopes of the channels. Repairs and maintenance of the channels and structures will be conducted to control erosion and prevent deterioration of structures which include non-County bridges, dams, weirs, checks, and diversion turn-outs. Re-grading and vegetation growth control and removal will also be performed along the access roadways.
