Document Description
SWRCB, as responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The City of Firebaugh's proposed project is an emergency replacement of existing facilities, whose purpose is to replace critical water supply infrastructure and improve water quality to meet primary federal and state drinking wate standards. The project includes the construction of a production well drilled to a depth that yielded the best water quality and quantity. Improvements assocaited with the well include well casing perforations, gravel envelope, sounding/gravel tubes and sanitary seal. The well will be fully developed and tested for water production, sand and efficiency (specific capacity). Upon completion of the well, the well will be fitted with various improvements, including but not limited to a pump, motor, pipe, fittings, valves, electrical, instrumentation, controls and security features.
