The proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Simi Valley Commercial Community Development Project (the "CCD Project," or "CCD Project Area") and proposed Amendment (the "Merger Amendment") merging the CCD Project with the (previously) Merged Tapo Canyon and West End Community Development Project (the "Existing Project Area"), to create the Simi Valley Merged Community Development Project (the "Merged Project," or "Merged Project Area"; collectively, hereafter, the CCD Project and the Merged Project are referred to as the "Project" or "Project Areas") for the purpose of improving existing deleterious physical and economic conditions in certain parts of the City not currently within a redevelopment project, and to more effectively administrate its fiscal and planning tools within the Merged Project Area in accordance with the requirements of the CA Community Redevelopment Law (CCRL; Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq...).
