Document Description
The Housing Element establishes strategies to address the community's housing needs in the next five years. The goals of the Housing Element include: 1) To increase the supply of sound housing at prices affordable by all segments of the community through construction of new units; 2) To increase the supply of housing at prices affordable by all segments of the community through the rehabilitation of existing substandard dwellings units; and 3) To maintain the supply of sound housing in the city through the conservation of the currently sound housing stock, as well as newly constructed and rehabilitated units.
