Document Description
SLDMWA Participating Members experience severe reductions in Central Valley Project (CVP) water supplies during dry hydrologic years. A number of entities upstream from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta have expressed interest in transferring water to reduce the effects of CVP shortages to these agencies. The alternatives evaluated include transfers to CVP contractors that are made available through groundwater substitution, cropland idling, reservoir release, and conservation from 2015 to 2024.
