Document Description
UCLA proposes to develop an approximate 295,000-sq. ft. Residential Conference Center that would include approximately 18,000 sq. ft. replacement for the UCLA Faculty Club; approximately 282 guest rooms; conference and meeting rooms; dining facilities with indoor and outdoor seating; lobby and lounge areas; support functions and administrative space; and a 300-space, two level subterranean parking garage and loading dock. The Project proposes an amendment to the 2002 Long Range Development Plan, as amended in 2009, to transfer square footage from another campus zone to the Core Campus zone to accommodate the proposed Project; however, the Project would not involve any modifications to the previously adopted campus-wide vehicle trip generation and parking limits. Construction is anticipated from mid 2012 through early 2015.
